John Kohos - President and Founder

With more than 25 years of experience in the computer services industry, John founded GUARDIAN in March 1999 to address a continuing need for quality support in the chronically under-serviced small and medium-size client market. The result is a tactical, cutting edge solution provider that doesn’t sit on its hands waiting to be asked for good advice.

John was also the founding President of Earth Day Quebec and a co-founding director of The Green Coalition, a local activist group that raised over $100 million to buy the remaining forests around the West island of Montreal from developers to preserve as public parks.

Jeff Kohos - V.P. Business Development

Jeff is a CA with 13 years experience managing a private apparel-related company. After a successful run that saw the business’ operations expand into Hong Kong, Jeff sold his share of the business in 2006 to take responsibility for business development at GUARDIAN. Being responsible for the IT of his former company and one of the first clients of GUARDIAN made the decision to move an easy one.

Jeff also has a deep commitment to the community, having spent much time as a fundraiser and for the last 11 years has been acting as an Executive Committee member and VP Finance of a local private school.

Mike Hood - Director of Technical Services

Mike has been working with John for almost 18 years. In the early pre-Guardian days the business was all about hardware. And Mike knows more about what makes computers tick (or stop ticking) than anybody. So, in addition to his highly developed technical skills, Mike is also responsible for recommending and negotiating hardware deals for Guardian’s clients. And Mike’s experience comes in pretty handy when our customers need a little service from manufacturers.

"WE AREN'T JUST MAINTAINING TECHNOLOGY. WE'RE MOVING IT FORWARD."
